Jimmy Donaldson was born May 7 in 1998. He is better known as MrBeast. Six years ago, he was acknowledged as the pioneer of a new genre of YouTube videos that focus on costly stunts. His main YouTube channel, "MrBeast", is the fifth-most-subscribed on the platform. Donaldson began uploading videos on YouTube in early 2012 at the age of 13, under the name "MrBeast6000"; his early videos ranged from "Let's Plays" to "videos estimating the wealth of other YouTubers." He went viral in 2017 after his "counting to 100,000" video racked up millions of views in just a couple of days. He has become increasingly popular ever since, with the majority of his videos receiving tens of millions of views.Over time his style of content has changed to include donation and challenge videos that reward millions of dollars, video that include tough challenges or tasks, and original vlogs. Donaldson employed his childhood pals to manage the brand as it grew. As of 2022, the MrBeast team was comprised of 60 people.Donaldson's main YouTube channel, which had 100 million subscribers on July 28, 2022, is known as "MrBeast".
