Milana

 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub of the American is an actor as well as a comedian and activist. Born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents, she began her career as a child actor shortly after immigrating to the United States. From 2013 until 2016 she was the AT&T salesperson Lily Adams, and since 2020. Her fame was boosted for her roles in television commercials. She also was a regular series regular on the Yahoo! Screen science fiction comedy Other Space (2015) and was a regular on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016-2017). Vayntrub, who was originally chosen to play the character Squirrel Girls in Marvel Rising's unaired pilot for New Warriors in 2018, has voiced the character since. Vayntrub was Jewish and was born in Tashkent in the Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. Her parents, who were both just two years old, emigrated to America as refugees from antisemitism. They were settled in West Hollywood. At the age of five she began to appear in Mattel Barbie commercials. This was partly due to financial struggles in her family. Vayntrub went to Beverly Hills High School briefly, but she was kicked out of the school in her second year. Then, she earned an GED, and graduated with an Associate of Arts degree in Communication at University of California, San Diego. Vayntrub studied improv comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade.
